# **PDF Butler – Sales Cloud Demo**

## **1. Access the Demo Environment**

1. Go to: [https://assets.pdfbutler.com/appexchange/index.html](https://assets.pdfbutler.com/appexchange/index.html)
2. In **PDF Butler Sales Cloud Demo**, click **Go**.

3. Log in to Salesforce and ensure you are in the **Sales App**.

## **2. Prepare the Opportunity**

1. Navigate to the **Opportunities** tab.
2. Open any existing record.
3. Add a **Contact Role**:
   - Assign a contact
   - Mark as **Primary Contact**
   - Select a **Role

4. Open the related **Contact** record.
5. Update the** email address** (for testing purposes).

## **3. Install PDF Butler**

1. Copy your **Salesforce domain URL**.

2. Paste it into the **Sales Demo page**.

3. In **Install PDF Butler**, click **Go**.

4. Select **Install for Admins Only**.
5. Grant access to all **third-party websites**.

## **4. Run Demo Setup**

1. Click **Go** in **Setup Sales Cloud Demo**.
2. Click **Auto Register**.
3. Copy and securely save the generated **credentials**.
4. Click **Setup Sales Cloud Demo** to continue.
5. (Optional) In step 3, upload a **logo** for the Opportunity Account.

## **5. Add PDF Butler to the Page Layout**

1. Open an **Opportunity** record.
2. Click **Setup (gear icon)** → **Edit Page**.

3. From the components list, select **PDF Butler Previewer**.
4. Drag and drop it onto the page layout.

5. In a new tab, open a **Doc Config** record.
6. Copy the **Doc Config ID**.
7. Paste it into the **DocConfig to Retrieve** field in the component.

8. Click **Save** and then **Activate** the page.

## **6. Validate the Demo**

1. Return to the Opportunity record.
2. Confirm that the **PDF Butler component** is visible.
3. Click the **PDF button**.
4. Verify that the document is generated successfully.

# **Sign Butler – Sales Cloud Demo**

## **1. Access the Demo**

1. Go to: [https://assets.pdfbutler.com/appexchange/index.html](https://assets.pdfbutler.com/appexchange/index.html)
2. In **Sign Butler Sales Cloud Demo**, click **Go**.
3. Copy and paste your **Salesforce domain URL**.

## **2. Install and Enable Features**

1. In **Step 1**, click **Go** to enable folders and enhanced sharing.
2. In **Step 2**, click **Go** to install Sign Butler.
3. Select **Install for Admins Only**.
4. Grant access to all **third-party websites**.

## **3. Connect PDF Butler Credentials**

1. In **Step 3**, enter your **PDF Butler credentials**.
2. Click **Check Credentials**.
3. Approve access to **Sign Butler**.

## **4. Import Configuration Files**

1. In **Step 4**, download the configuration file.

2. Go to the **Sign Butler Admin** tab → **Migration**.

3. Click **Import** and upload the file.
4. In **Step 5**, download the second configuration file.

5. Go to **PDF Butler Admin** → **Pack Migration**.

6. Click **Import** and upload the file.

## **5. Configure Object Relationship**

1. In **Step 6**, click **Go** to open **Object Manager**.
2. Locate the **Sign Request** object.
3. Go to **Fields and Relationships**.
4. Click **New**.
5. Select **Lookup Relationship**.
6. Relate it to **Opportunity.**
7. Save the Record.

## **6. Configure the Page Layout**

1. Open an **Opportunity** record.
2. Click **Setup (gear icon)** → **Edit Page**.

3. Select the **PDF Butler component**.
4. In a new tab, open the **PDF Butler App**.
5. Locate the **Sign Butler Pack**.
6. Copy the **Pack ID**.
7. Paste it into the **Pack to Retrieve** field.

8. Click **Save**.

## **7. Validate Signing Process**

1. Click the **PDF button**.
2. Select **Sign Butler**.

3. The **primary contact** on the Opportunity should receive an email to sign the document.
