SIGN Butler supports multiple signing methods, including handwritten signatures, scribble, and email OTP. You can also allow signers to upload an image of their signature from their device.

In this example, the Upload signing method is added to SIGN Butler, enabled for a Sign Request Template, and tested.

### Step 01: Add the Upload Signing Method

1. Open the **Global Value Set** used for SIGN Butler signing methods.
2. Check whether **Upload** is already available as a value. If it is not present, click **New** to create a new value.

1. Type **Upload** in the text box, then click **Save**.

1. Back on the **Global Value Set** page, click**Edit**next to the new Upload value.
2. Change the value **Label**to match how you want the signing option to appear to users. In this example, the label is changed to Upload Image because signers will use this option to upload an image of their signature. Then click **Save**.

2. Scroll down to the **Sign Methods** field and confirm that **Upload Image** is available as one of the signing method options.

2. In the **Stakeholder** section, locate the signer entry, open its action menu, and click **Edit**.

1. Click**Submit** on the last page to save the Sign Request Template. The signer can now use an uploaded image as their signature when completing a signing request created from this template.

### Step 04: Test the Upload Image Signing Method

1. Generate and send a signing request using the configured Sign Request Template.
2. Open the signing page. Acknowledge that the document has been reviewed, then begin the signing session.
3. When prompted to provide a signature, click **Choose File**. Choose the signature image you want to upload. Use the uploaded image to sign the document and complete the signing session.

**Note:**SIGN Butler stores the selected signature image in the browser. When the same signer returns to another signing page in that browser, the image can be preloaded so it does not need to be selected again.
