This month, we introduced new barcode support, improved how numbers and currencies can be spelled out, and added asynchronous processing to Document Extractor. We also made several improvements and fixes across SIGN Butler, FORM Butler, CONTRACT Butler, and Excel configurations.
Here’s what’s new in the latest releases.
Document Generation (PDF Butler: v 1.533)
Current Version: 31/08/2026
- New Feature – Support for new types of barcodes PDF Butler: Now supports three additional barcode types:
- CODE 128 with GS1
- Code 2 of 5 Interleaved
- NVE
- Improvements – We released a new version of our feature for spelling numbers and amounts in letters:
You can now:- Support any language.
- Spell out numbers and amounts.
- Spell out amounts, including currencies.
This is a backend update and is available to all users.
- Fix – Picture configuration in Excel files
- Fix – We fixed an issue with the picture config type in Excel files where the wrong default picture was assigned when a region was repeated. The correct picture will now be displayed, whether or not the records have a related picture.
Digital Signature (SIGN Butler V2)
- Improvement – We improved our Audit Trail, now is capable to capture more events and with detailed information. We will keep adding actions during Q4 to improve traceability.
- Fix – We did a major fix to allow to have multiple signers to use different signing methods (AES, QES) when In-Person Signing is enabled.
- Fix – We applied a minor fix to allow Japanese characters when the reassign functionality is being used.
Dynamic Forms (FORM Butler)
- New Feature – Support Formula Form Field ConfigType: This new Config Type will allow you to use it in PDFs with live numbers, which means that you can create a quote where the prices or quantities can be changed by the recipient of the Form. - Fix – we did a small update to allow installation in new orgs.
Contract Lifecycle Management (CONTRACT Butler)
- Fix – we did minor fixes in the clause rules module, improving the performance and removing a few UI problems.
Document Extractor
- New Feature – Support Async Processing: Now our Document Extractor supports processing files via flow or via batch asynchronously.
