June Release Notes

Here’s what’s new across the PDF Butler platform this month, including new features, product enhancements, and an important Salesforce security update. We recommend upgrading to the latest package versions to ensure compatibility with Salesforce’s latest security requirements. 

Document & Batch Generation (PDF Butler)

• Major Update – Salesforce Security Compliance: PDF Butler is now fully compliant with Salesforce’s latest security requirements. Our team has worked extensively to ensure compatibility across all products, and we strongly recommend upgrading to the latest package version. 
• New Feature – Document Editor: You can now save edited documents directly as PDF files. 
• New Feature – Document Editor: Now you can use the document editor in a flow. 
• Improvement – Spellout: The Spellout feature now supports amounts with decimal values.  

Digital Signature (SIGN Butler v2)

• UI Improvement: Users can now print the PDF directly from the signing page using a new secondary action available by default. 
• New Feature – Password Protection: Sign Requests now support additional security options per stakeholder. You can require a dynamic SMS OTP code, a static code from an API field, or no additional authentication. 
• Improvement – Multiple E-Seals: It is now possible to combine Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) with basic or advanced signing methods on the same PDF. Each signing method will generate its own corresponding E-Seal. 

Dynamic Forms (FORM Butler)

• Improvement – Related Lists: Web Forms now support child fields in Related Lists. 
• Improvement – Custom Branding:  The Web Form UI now supports full custom branding.
• Improvement – Phone Component: Administrators can now define the default country code available in Web Forms. 
• New Rich Text Component: A new Rich Text component allows users to submit structured, formatted content through Web Forms.  

Document Management (COLLABORATION Butler)

• New Feature – Support Case Object in the Email Composer: Now we support the case object with our Email Composer; the UI was improved to provide a simplified experience for the user.
• Improvement – Lightning Web Security Compliance: Collaboration Butler is now fully compatible with Salesforce’s Lightning Web Security settings introduced with the Summer ’26 release.
• Fix – SharePoint Folder Creation: Resolved an issue affecting folder creation when using a static path in the SharePoint component.
