Welcome to Inside the Salesforce Ecosystem, where we dive deep with the leaders, experts, and innovators shaping the future of Salesforce. Every episode explores the unique journeys, challenges, and insights of those driving success within the ecosystem.
Today, we’re joined by Rebecca Aichholzer, Customer Success Consultant at VISEO, Salesforce MVP, and Golden Hoodie recipient. With over a decade of experience, Rebecca specializes in technology-driven transformations that enhance efficiency, drive innovation, and foster business growth.
Thank you for joining us, Rebecca!
Q: Can you tell us a little about yourself and your role at VISEO?
Rebecca: I’ve been part of the Salesforce ecosystem since 2014. It was my 10th year in the ecosystem last year. So, I’m hitting my 11th this year, and it’s been an absolutely amazing ride!
I started my Salesforce ecosystem ride at Queensland Investment Corporation, where I was the product owner for the Salesforce platform for a number of years after having been a national sales manager needing CRM, and Salesforce found me. I spent years as a product owner before moving into consulting at VISEO, where I help customers leverage their Salesforce investments.
I’ve moved into a consulting role from being customer-side. Very different experience, and I’ve been absolutely loving the journey there. I’ve spent a great amount of time in the past year and a half working with all types of customers, really getting a broad understanding of all of the other products that are available in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Q: What does a typical day look like for you?
Rebecca: It’s hectic! I’ve recently transitioned into a sales-focused role after spending a year and a half managing projects. Previously, I was running three to four projects at a time, working with customers on standups, and liaising with internal teams.
My typical day at the moment looks like working with customers trying to understand what their objectives are for the next quarter and seeing how VISEO can actually help them to meet their business objectives.
Q: From where you started to where you are today, what have been some key moments in your career?
Rebecca: I’ve had a very non-linear career path—advertising, event management, sales, and then tech. But every role that I’ve had has always just been building up skills. I’ve done lots of different things, and I found myself in a sales space from 2006 onwards through to, you know, 2018. I was doing sales for pop-up leasing in shopping centers, which sounds completely different to being a technology consultant now.
Q: What was it like receiving the Golden Hoodie?
Rebecca: Completely unexpected!
I was invited to speak at the 2018 Sydney World Tour when Salesforce came to me and said, we’re going to interview you. I was pretty nervous to talk in front of a couple of thousand people. I don’t remember how I even answered those questions that they asked me. But they got me up on stage. Then they handed me the Golden Hoodie, and it was surreal. It was an incredible moment, and I wore it around all day despite the 30-degree heat! The recognition gave me the confidence to step fully into the Salesforce space and embrace my role in the ecosystem.
Q: What are some common challenges businesses face when implementing Salesforce?
Rebecca: Change management is one of the biggest challenges. Companies invest heavily in Salesforce, but without the right user adoption strategy, the platform’s potential is lost. Training needs to be tailored—some people learn hands-on, others through reading, others visually. If organizations don’t factor this in, adoption suffers. Helping businesses understand that digital transformation isn’t just about technology but also about process and people is key.
Q: How does VISEO’s partnership with PDF Butler enhance your projects?
Rebecca: I’ve worked on 12+ projects at VISEO in the last year and a half, and PDF Butler’s featured in a number of those projects that we’ve done, including a project that’s actually about to go live soon.
It is such a great solution for lots of our different requirements that our customers have. And I think not just the fact that you’ve got PDF Butler, FORM Butler, and SIGN Butler as well. You’ve got this really nice product stack that you’ve worked on that works well together.
It’s a very simple solution. It meets so many of our customers requirements, and it’s very simple to implement too, which is great. I’ve found the relationship amazing. I’ve found the support that you’ve got incredible as well.
Q: If you could go back and give yourself advice at the start of your Salesforce journey, what would it be?
Rebecca: One piece of advice I would give myself would be to dive into the certifications a bit earlier. I used Salesforce for three years before getting my first certification in 2017. Now, I’m up to 13. Certifications really are important to solidify your knowledge, but also, because it’s a global certification, it’s recognizable wherever you go.
Q: Outside of work, how do you recharge? Any hobbies?
Rebecca: I used to do a lot of strength training and powerlifting. I represented Australia in 2012 and 2013.
I love traveling! I’ve been to around 50 countries. If I’m not traveling, I’m planning my next trip. I’m also a huge foodie, so my husband and I enjoy discovering new restaurants. And I’m a trivia nerd. I love competing in trivia nights with friends and family.
