We’ve rolled out some exciting updates across PDF Butler, SIGN Butler, FORM Butler, and COLLABORATION Butler to make document generation even more efficient and flexible. From enhanced form field capabilities to UI improvements and deeper integrations, these updates are designed to help you work smarter within Salesforce.

📄 PDF Butler Updates

Feature: Support Hint Text for Static PDF Doc Configs
Now, you can pre-populate a form field with hint text to guide users on what to fill in by adding the words or a sentence in the Hint field to the Config Types. That will allow you to provide a better experience to the final user.
Feature: One-time Transient Form Fields
Collect sensitive data (e.g., bank details) from users, print it on the PDF, but never store it in Salesforce.
This functionality is designed to get any data from the filler, print it over the document, and then remove the Form Field, avoiding editing over that data.
Remark: To use this feature, you must select the Type “Single_Transient”
Fix: Google Docs Compatibility
We made several improvements to support more features coming from Google Docs. The Compatibility increased and this allows us to use it as a template.
Fix: Date Fields in Static PDF Doc Configs
We fixed a minor bug that was generating an issue with Date Form Fields in Static PDF Doc Configs, and now it is working smoothly.
📌 PDF Butler Dynamic Selector

Feature: Using Dynamic Selector in a Screen Flow
Now it’s possible to show the Dynamic Selector in a Screen Flow, but only when the Screen Flow is launched from a Record page. Through the “Flow Navigation Action” Field you can specify certain values that will make the Dynamic selector even smarter:
- Emtpy: No action will be taken when the Modal (previewer) closes
- NEXT: Go to the next screen (if there is any) when the Modal (previewer) closes
- FINISH: Close the Screen Flow if the Finish button is available when the Modal (previewer) closes
- ALL: let the Dynamic Selector be smart and execute NEXT or FINISH depending on what button is available
🖊 SIGN Butler V2

Feature: Support Duplicate Names in Form Fields
When a PDF is created with an online tool, it could contain form fields with the same ID. This situation is rare but can occur, so we’ve enhanced SIGN Butler V2 to handle it seamlessly.
Fix: UI Improvement in the FDA Compliance Feature
We made a UI improvement when the user activates the FDA Compliance feature; now the signature over the document and in the Certificate of Completion is rendered smoothly, and all the data can be read perfectly.

Feature: Automate File Transfers from Salesforce to SharePoint
Now, it is possible to set a flow action to move files from Salesforce to Sharepoint using a situation as a trigger (for example, changing an opportunity status to “Close Won”) to send files to Sharepoint.
This process is being executed via Async, so it can take some minutes to complete, especially if there are large files involved. Please check this documentation; you will find more details about how to complete the settings in the Flow Action section.
