March brings a range of updates across PDF Butler, SIGN Butler, FORM Butler, and COLLABORATION Butler. This release focuses on improving automation, flexibility, and user experience, while also addressing some minor fixes.
Let’s dive into what’s new!
PDF Butler
Current Version: 1.453
Release Date: 29/03/2025
- Feature: Apply Header and Footer from a Template
Users can now apply headers and footers from one DOCX template to another document. By enabling this option in the Doc Config, PDF Butler will automatically select the appropriate header and footer, making it easier to manage complex documents that combine multiple files into one.
- Technical Feature: Improved Data Source Filtering
Admins can now seamlessly change a Data Source type from a list (multiple records) to a single record. PDF Butler will automatically select the first record in cases where a single record is required, offering greater flexibility in data handling.
- Fix: Japanese Translations in SOQL Builder
A minor issue causing Japanese translations to display incorrectly in the SOQL Builder has been fixed.
SIGN Butler V2
Current Version: 1.245
Release Date: 29/03/2025
- Feature: Reorder Files in Manual Signing V2
Users can now reorder uploaded files in Step 1 of Manual Signing V2, even if the files were generated via PDF Butler and forwarded for signing.
- Feature: Email Notifications for Form Field Update Failures
If a Sign Request contains form fields and the data update fails, the registered Sign Butler user will now receive an email notification with detailed error information.
- Feature: Support for Duplicate Form Field Names
SIGN Butler now supports form fields with the same ID name, which can occur when documents are created with online tools.
- Fix: Manual Signing V2 and Receiver Selection
An issue where a Sign Request Template (SRT) with a pre-defined receiver would cause an error when forwarded from PDF Butler to Manual Signing V2 has been resolved.
FORM Butler

When a web form is submitted, users can now include parameters that are sent to the backend for further processing.
